     The files in this subdirectory are compressed tar format
archives created from files on this anonymous ftp site at the
International AVS Center.

     You can easily create a local copy of almost all of the ftp 
site with these files, which as of today (9/7/95) consist of:

      AVS Filter modules      AVS5_FILTER_MODULES.tar.Z
      AVS data input modules  AVS5_INPUT_MODULES.tar.Z
      AVS mapper modules      AVS5_MAPPER_MODULES.tar.Z
      AVS data output modules AVS5_OUTPUT_MODULES.tar.Z
      Miscellaneous files     AVS_MISC.tar
      Wes Bethel's VR Library VRModules.tar.Z
                              spaceball.tar.Z

     Example:
        To get all of the IAC's filter modules use the following steps:

	1. Use ftp (in binary mode) to download AVS5_FILTER_MODULES.tar.Z
	2. uncompress AVS5_FILTER_MODULES.tar.Z
	3. tar -xvf AVS5_FILTER_MODULES.tar.Z
	4. rm AVS5_FILTER_MODULES.tar.Z
