SurfCube
SurfCube displays interpreted faults, horizons, attribute
surfaces, and wellbore information in 3D space to
integrate and understand the elements composing the
prospect and to visually communicate that understanding
to others.

% Understand and visually communicate complex
relationships among the components of the interpretation
by displaying interpreted surfaces in 3D space

% Distinguish individual faults and horizons by assigning
a unique SeisWorks color map to each surface in a
SurfCube display

% Analyze surface features by applying wireframe grids
or map analysis techniques (dip, azimuth or edge
detection)

% Accentuate interrelationships between structure and
surface attributes by draping amplitudes, phase,
frequency, velocity, or any other data set over
interpreted surfaces

% Examine complex surface relationships by rotating and
viewing the interpretation display from any angle

% Visualize subtle features not visible in standard
displays by changing the viewing angle, elevation,
number, and intensity of light sources

% Examine specific features while maintaining the overall
spatial relationships in the display by varying the degree
of transparency for each surface

% Examine complex structures at any scale using pan and
zoom capabilities
