Reference

to this license is made in all areas where the Warrantee
Disclaimer appears. Data files , binaries and other forms where it is
not appropriate for this disclaimer to appear are still bound by the
conditions of this license if they were obtained from the
International AVS Centre and this license agreement must
accompany said items.
If the author gives written permission, or you obtain modules
from an alternative source that was not distributed from the International
AVS Centre or anyone who distributed from that point, such as the
SLATEC repository, then you are bound only by the rules of that
repository or author copyright. Otherwise the terms of this license
must be adhered to unless you receive written permission from the
International AVS Centre for these special circumstances. Since the
purpose of the license is to protect donors of AVS modules and not
make the terms too difficult to abide by, the International AVS Centre
will work closely with any group that needs these special permissions (i.e.
government labs) to alter conditions of the license so that they can
be used by these groups. The Centre will coordinate with authors/donors
to get approvals as quickly as possible.

You are free to use, modify, give away or sell all modules and
associated files subject to the conditions of the Warranty
Disclaimer, associated copyrights and the terms of this license
agreement as laid out below. If you give away or sell modules or any
associated files you must provide source code or make source code
available upon request for all modules and associated files that
were obtained from the International AVS Centre, unless otherwise
specified by written agreement from the International AVS Centre.
You must pass this license and all the rights that it implies along
with any distribution of modules or associated files. These rights
and restrictions are binding upon all distributions of the files.
The International AVS Centre wants to ensure that all parties
understand that there is no warranty for modules or associated files
obtained from the International AVS Centre by any method. If you
modify and distribute files you must include a statement in the
header ( or a readme file for data, binaries, etc) that states that the
file has been modified and is not the original so that any problems
introduced will not reflect upon the original authors.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR COPYING, MODIFYING AND DISTRIBUTION
	1.	This license agreement applies to any file obtained from
the International AVS Centre, unless written permission is obtained
from the International AVS Centre. The word "module" will
henceforth refer to any file ( module, network, script, data, etc) that
is obtained from the International AVS Centre. This license must
accompany all distributions of modules whether original or
modified. "You" refers to the individuals who either obtain the
modules or use the modules.
	2.	You may copy and distribute original copies of modules in
any medium provided you conspicuously and appropriately include
this license agreement, keep intact all notices, warrantee
disclaimer, author credits, version information and copyright
notices. You may charge a fee for the physical act of transferring a
copy.
	3.	You may modify your copy or copies of modules or any
portion of these modules and distribute such modifications provided
you also do the following:
		a.	ensure that the modified modules carry a notice
stating that you changed the original code, your name, date and how
you can be contacted. In cases where the module is data or a file
where this is not appropriate you will provide a readme file with
this information.
		b.	cause the whole or part of any work that you
distribute or publish, that in whole or in part contains the modules
or any part thereof, either with or without modifications, to be
licensed at no charge to all third parties under the terms of this
International AVS Centre license ( except that you may choose to
grant warrantee protection to some or all third parties, at your
option and your risk).
		c.	you may charge a fee for the physical act of
transferring a copy, and you may at your option offer warranty
protection in exchange for a fee.
	4.	Mere aggregation of another independent work with the
module ( or its derivative) on a volume of storage or distribution
medium does not bring the other work under the scope of these
terms.
	5.	You may copy and distribute the module or a portion or
derivative of it in object code or executable form under the terms
listed above provided you do one of the following:
		a.	accompany it with the complete corresponding
machine readable source code, which must be distributed under the
terms listed above; or,
		b.	accompany it with a written offer, valid for at
least one year, to give any third party free ( exception for nominal
distribution fee) a complete machine readable copy of the
corresponding source code; or,
		c.	accompany it with the information you received as
to where the corresponding source code may be obtained. This
alternative is allowed only for noncommercial distribution and only
if you received the module in object code or executable form alone.
	6.	You may not copy, modify, sublicense, distribute or
transfer the modules except as expressly provided in this license
without written permission from the International AVS Centre. Any
attempt otherwise to copy, modify, sublicense, distribute or
transfer the modules is void, and will make you liable for legal
action by the International AVS Centre, the module author, the AVS
Consortium or AVS vendors as appropriate It will also
automatically terminate your right to use the module under this
license. However, parties who have received copies, or rights to use
copies, from you under this AVS license agreement will not have
their use of the modules revoked so long as such parties remain in
full compliance with the terms outlined in this license.
	7.	By copying, distributing or otherwise modifying modules
or any work based on the modules, you indicate your acceptance of
this license along with all of its terms and conditions.
	8.	Each time you redistribute the modules or any

Modification

thereof, you must include this license and you may not
impose further restrictions on the recipients exercise of the rights
granted herein. The individual who receives your distribution must
agree to these terms also.
	9.	The International AVS Centre may publish revised and/or
new versions of this original AVS license from time to time. Each
version will be given a unique version number of the license which
applies to it and "any later versions". You have the option of
following the terms and conditions outlined in the version you
receive at the time you receive the module or any later version. If
the module does not specify the version, you may choose any version
published by the International AVS Centre for module licensing.
	10.	If you wish to incorporate parts of the program into

Other

free software whose distribution conditions are different, write
to the author or the International AVS Centre to obtain permission.
	11.	BECAUSE THESE MODULES ARE OFFERED FREE OF CHARGE,
THERE IS NO WARRANTY FOR THE MODULE, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED
BY APPLICABLE LAW. EXCEPT WHEN OTHERWISE STATED IN WRITING
THE COPYRIGHT HOLDERS AND/OR OTHER PARTIES PROVIDE THE
MODULE "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED
OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED
WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
MODULE. THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF
THE MODULE IS WITH YOU. SHOULD THE MODULE PROVE DEFECTIVE,
YOU ASSUME THE COST OF ALL NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR OR
CORRECTION.
	12.	IN NO EVENT UNLESS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW OR
AGREED TO IN WRITING WILL ANY COPYRIGHT HOLDER, OR ANY OTHER
PARTY WHO MAY MODIFY AND/OR REDISTRIBUTE THE MODULE AS
PERMITTED ABOVE, BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF
THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE MODULE ( INCLUDING BUT NOT
LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA OR DATA BEING RENDERED INACCURATE OR
LOSSES SUSTAINED BY YOU OR THIRD PARTIES OR A FAILURE OF THE
MODULE TO OPERATE WITH ANY OTHER MODULES OR PROGRAMS), EVEN
IF SUCH HOLDER OR OTHER PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE
POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
